To be able to import certificates for your dog, your dog must be converted to a 'Registry Dog' before 30 September 2025. If you convert your dog to a registry dog after 30 September 2025, you will not be able to import your certificates. Only Championship Show certificates and results will be imported.
If you have converted your dog to a registry dog before 30 September 2025, we have saved the certificates for the dog, and you can import the certificates and results at any time in the future.
When Certificates are imported, the system will also insert the results for the dog, which will include any points and wins. As part of the import process, the system will try to detect if you have manually added results for the dog that may conflict with results that are being imported. In this case, the result will be flagged as a possible duplicate and will not be selected by default to be imported.

FAQ
Q: I have not converted my dog to a Registry Dog before 30 September 2025. Can I still import my certificates?
A: No.
Q: Why do I need to convert my dog to a registry dog?
A: This process ensures that the details and registration number of the dog are correct. This will also trigger the system to download and store your certificate data from EasyDogs to ensure you can import your certificates and results.
Q: When I import the certificates, why does it say there is a possible duplicate?
A: We are not able to exactly match the events between the two systems as part of the import process, so we run a check to see if you have any results from any event with the same date as the event we are importing. If you already have a result on that date for the dog, the system will flag this as a possible duplicate, and the event will not be selected by default. You can still select the event to import the certificate if it is not a duplicate.
Q: I have manually added results in the past. Will the new results override and replace the manually added results?
A: No. If you import the certificates for an event where you have manually added the results, this will create a duplicate result.
Q: Do I import the duplicates or not?
A: You can import the duplicates, then from the reports page, you can delete them. Or, if you have already saved the certificate from when you manually added the result, you cannot import the duplicate.
Q: I have imported my certificates, and I now have duplicate results. How do I remove the duplicate results?
A: From the dog results page, locate the result, and you will be able to delete the duplicate result by clicking on the 'Delete' button to the right of the result.
